Just In Time For Summer!

Hey All -
We've been hibernating all winter long and now that the warmer months are here, we've shaken ourselves off and are ready to make some great music. We are now a duo (Bryan Thorp and Greta Bagshaw), with a great friend of ours, Jim D'Augustine, joining us at our shows. NTB makes some music. Jim makes some music. We all make some music.
We are really excited to get out and play and know we have something special in our collaboration with Jim. He is a great songwriter that must be heard. Jim and Bryan have been playing together for years so our collaboration seemed a natural next step.
Come out and hear what we've got going these days. We think you will be really pleased!
More Instruments!

Hey All -
If you've been to our recent shows, you'll have noticed that we've added a few new instruments to the mix. Geoff has his mandolin, Bryan has his ukelele and both have been taking turns with a marvelous instrument called the 'banjotar'! Along with the guitars, fine bass playing and occasional hand percussion, we're really rounding out our sound. Continually evolving...that's the plan!

NTB has double the fun at Elliot's!
-
August 26, 2007
This was our second gig of the day. This was our second time at Elliot's at the Blackburn. We played Moonglow two times (once in celebration of an anniversary and once in celebration of a wedding). It was the second time the wedding couple saw NTB perform. How's that for a theme. We must say we had a great time and are looking forward to our return in September.
NTB heats it up at the Essex Music Festival

August 26, 2007
We had a hot time at yesterday's 14th Annual Essex Music Festival. While the temperatures were soaring, so were the hot sounds from all of the great musical acts. We were lucky enough to be playing on the shady Flamingo Stage. Thanks to Nick Aparo for filling in on bass. Thanks to Jack for working the crowd over, I mean working the email list for us. We hope we get to come back next year!
NTB shines at Capt. Carlo's

August 5, 2007
It was a beautiful & sunny afternoon at Capt. Carlo's yesterday as NTB performed for a crowd of new and old fans.
We had a great time entertaining the fans and, sometimes being entertained by the fans. Judging by the smiles on everyone's face, we seem to have hit the mark with the right mix of familiar and new tunes, arranged in our own NTB style.
We look forward to seeing you out at our next gig!

December 22, 2006
It's always a treat to play at Johnny D's - truly one of the great music venues around Boston. Opening for us will be Moses Atwood, who the Portland Phoenix calls "... the heir apparent to Micah Blue Smaldone and Ray LaMontagne..."
But there's more!!!
After Not That Blonde gets a chance to share some of our cool new material for you, we'll introduce you to Jim D'Augustine - a talented singer/songwriter and long time friend who will play a few songs from his upcoming solo album "Elm Street".
The show starts at 8:30.
